HISTORY AND MILESTONES
Eduard Linnhoff established “Eduard Linnhoff Maschinenfabrik” in Tempelhof, Berlin, Germany at the end of the World War II. The company provided various road construction machinery, such as asphalt pavers, asphalt cookers, and asphalt sprayers.
The unique dual-function Screen Drum was innovated in 1960s. This unique system combines the drying and screening of aggregates in the same drum, eliminating the needs for Hot Elevator and Vibrating Screens that are normally required in an asphalt plant. The Screen Drum system reduces the fuel consumption and maintenance, which eventually lowers the overall operational costs of the Screen Drum asphalt plant.
Linnhoff expanded into Asia-Pacific region by taking over the factory of Wibau in Singapore, before eventually forming a joint-venture with IPS Group Pte Ltd and established a headquarters to cover the Asia-Pacific region.
Linnhoff Modular Asphalt Plant was developed with the features of modular-based transportation and installation. The plant unit consists of several pre-fabricated modules to ease the installation on site.
The first Linnhoff Mobile Asphalt Plant concept was developed to provide a fully mobility feature, where all basic modules are built on axles. Each module of the mobile asphalt plant is easily transportable by connecting it to a prime mover. Moreover, with all of the components pre-assembled in factory, the installation is also eased.
Linnhoff Technologies received its first ISO 9001 certification for the design, management of manufacturing, and servicing of asphalt mixing plant and associated equipment. Since then, Linnhoff Technologies has been continuously renewed its ISO 9001 certification from TÜV Rheinland Group.
Linnhoff Technologies received its first Enterprise 50 Award for the 41st position. This prestigious award recognises the contribution of Singapore companies to the economic development in Singapore and overseas. The award is organised annually by The Business Times and KPMG.
The CompactMix Asphalt Plant model (CMX Series) is a more compact type asphalt plant based on modular concept. The modules of CompactMix Asphalt Plant are designed to fit into sea containers for more economical shipment and higher portability. The plant installation is set module by module, shortening the installation time required. The plant type’s capacity ranges from 90 – 160 TPH (@ 5% moisture).
LINNHOFF TransitMix Asphalt Plant (TRX Series) was developed to provide lower-capacity modular-based asphalt plants, which are more portable and more suitable for small-scale projects or projects in remote areas. The plant type is available in 40 and 60 TPH capacity (@ 5% moisture).
For the 4th consecutive time, Linnhoff received the Enterprise 50 (E50) Award, at the 9th place. This year also marked the 5th time in total Linnhoff has received E50 Award. The first E50 Award was received in 2007, then in 2013 annually until 2016. The first Internationalisation Award was also presented to Linnhoff for its internationalisation efforts.
